Spring/Summer Tops 2017

Posted on 21 March 2017

What to wear tops for Spring/Summer of 2017? I am more than happy to share. So, it seems that ruffle sleeveless tops are everywhere. This is the year to ditch the traditional bra. There are asymmetric tops for those who are not completely comfortable giving all shoulder, followed by traditional off the shoulder. This Spring/Summer collection is very flirty, with ruffles throughout the front of the top, on the sleeves, and even on just the side. Depending on where you shop and your price range, there are a variety of looks to make the off-shoulder trend fit your needs. My personal favorite is the seersucker print that is in full effect! Blue and white stripes are always classic, and everyone should just have one, right?       Tip: for those who cannot go braless, it is time to invest in some bandeau bras. They are simple to put on, almost like a tube top. If you cannot use that and need more support. Consider light wired strapless bras so that the heat isn’t killing you in your beautiful top.

CROP TOPS!! When you look online and shop at the store, it seems like it’s all you see, and this trend is not going anywhere this summer. For those that have a little pudge in the midsection, here is a quick tip. Go for longer crop tops, and pair it with high-rise leggings. With a loose-fitting crop, you can always opt for a cami underneath and pair it with just about whatever you want.

BAND TEES! If you don’t like a band, you will still most likely be pressured to buy at least one of these tops this summer. This year they have manipulated these tees in just about any way possible making them very sexy for the ladies. Most commonly, the tops have been cut and stitched back together in the front, leaving you showing some serious skin. If you don’t like the crisscross detail, they have also cut tops to create a choker effect. Very cool for those who like the edgy look. My favorite part of this trend is how simple you can pair these tops with just about anything, and still be on trend.

So, this summer where should you start? As always, take the trend and consider your body type. Do not just buy it because it is “on trend”. It is important for you to look amazing in everything you wear. Not all trends are for everyone, so pick what your shape can handle.
